Design Notes
No terminators are needed as the pSB1C3 plasmid contains terminators.
A non-leaky inducible promoter is needed to amplify the constructs in E.coli as quite a high concentration of the transcripts is toxic to E.coli.
There is a scar between the promoter and the toehold switch, but there is no scar between the toehold switch and the reporter protein.
